These terms apply to your use of onyxa.co.za ("the website") and to any purchase you make from Onyxa ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. They should be read together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. About us

Onyxa is an online beauty and wellness store based in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. You can contact us at support@onyxa.co.za.

2. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. Some products, including teeth-whitening and Herbal Health products, are for adults only.

3. Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and packaging may vary from the images shown. If an item you receive is materially different from its description, our Refund Policy applies.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We'll always let you know first.

5. Orders

Your order confirmation email confirms we've received your order. A contract is formed when we accept and dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or we suspect fraud. If this happens, we'll refund any payment in full.

6. Discounts and promotions

Discount codes and offers are subject to the conditions shown with them, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be combined unless we say so. We may end a promotion at any time, but this won't affect orders already placed.

7. Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered in our Shipping Policy, and returns, refunds, store credit and your 7-day cooling-off right are covered in our Refund Policy.

8. Using our products safely

Always read and follow the instructions and warnings that come with each product.
Do a patch test before using a new skincare product, and stop using it if irritation occurs.
LED devices are not suitable for everyone. Don't use them if you are pregnant, epileptic, sensitive to light or taking light-sensitising medication.
Our products are cosmetic and lifestyle products. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Information on our website is general and is not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, speak to a healthcare professional before using our products, especially Herbal Health products.

9. Reviews and content you share

If you send us a review, photo or comment, you confirm it's honest and that you have the right to share it, and you allow us to display it on our website and social media. We may decline or remove content that is offensive, unlawful or unrelated to the product.

10. Intellectual property

The Onyxa name, logo, website design and our original text and images belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't responsible for loss or damage caused by misuse of a product, by not following its instructions, or by events beyond our reasonable control.
